Automation, Assistant or Agent? A decision framework for leaders
Automate when the steps repeat and rules cover the outcome. Deploy an agent when every situation differs and the work needs judgement. Getting this wrong is where budget disappears.

The gap that matters
Individual gains are real. Enterprise returns are not following. The organisations closing that gap are redesigning workflows around AI rather than inserting AI into the workflows they already had. That is the work.
Who we help
How we work
We understand the technology, but we start with the business. Most clients begin with one of these and add the next as the agenda takes shape.
Where should AI create value in your organisation?
We help leadership teams move from scattered experimentation to a structured AI agenda. The focus is not on using more tools — it is on choosing the right use cases, sequencing them properly and connecting AI investment to measurable business outcomes.
Make your people AI-capable, not merely AI-aware.
Practical, hands-on programmes designed for non-technical professionals and leadership teams. Participants work on real workflows, real decisions and real business use cases.
Private, hands-on AI advisory for executives, founders and business owners.
For leaders who want AI integrated into the way they personally work and make decisions. Sessions are tailored around real priorities, documents, workflows and business challenges.
From roadmap to working solution.
When a client needs to move from roadmap to working solution, IgnitionFlow can support scoping, solution design, project coordination and implementation — working with specialist technical partners where deeper engineering is required.

Karima combines finance, entrepreneurship and applied AI. After a career in investment management across Paris, London and Dubai, she became an entrepreneur, built and operated businesses in the GCC, exited a business, and built an AI-powered product before founding IgnitionFlow AI.
Since training in AI and machine learning in 2018, she has focused on helping executives and organisations identify, prioritise and implement practical AI use cases — connecting technology decisions to workflows, ROI and business outcomes.
Her approach is business-first: understand the objective, identify where AI creates value, decide what should be automated or augmented, and then build a practical path to adoption.
For engagements requiring deeper technical engineering, automation or specialised implementation, IgnitionFlow works with selected AI specialists and delivery partners, including AI Crafters. IgnitionFlow leads strategy, advisory, executive enablement and client engagement; specialist partners extend implementation capability where needed.
Two-minute diagnostic
Six statements. Answer honestly — the score is only useful if it stings a little.
Our leadership team can name which AI tool fits which task.
We have mapped which recurring workflows consume the most time.
We have written rules for what staff may and may not put into AI tools.
At least one workflow runs automated end to end today.
We can state what an AI initiative saved or earned last quarter.
One named person owns AI adoption — not a committee.

Specialism
AI strategy and practical GenAI adoption for investment, advisory and financial-services environments — where accuracy, governance, risk and human judgement matter.
Karima's CFA and investment-management background allows IgnitionFlow to bridge AI capability with the language of capital, risk, return and investment decision-making.
In regulated environments the question is rarely whether a model can produce an answer. It is whether the workflow around it can be governed, evidenced and defended. That is where most financial-services AI programmes stall, and where the strategy work earns its place.

Insights
Automate when the steps repeat and rules cover the outcome. Deploy an agent when every situation differs and the work needs judgement. Getting this wrong is where budget disappears.
The pilot works because someone cared about it. Scaling fails because nobody owns the workflow it sits inside. Ownership, measurement and workflow redesign decide what survives contact with the organisation.
Better prompts produce better outputs. They do not produce better organisations. The step most teams skip is redesigning the process the output belongs to.
Most AI backlogs are wish lists. A usable portfolio scores each candidate on business impact and on how realistically it can be delivered with the data and governance you actually have.
Synthesis gets faster. Judgement does not. The advantage goes to teams that redesign the research workflow around that split rather than bolting a model onto the end of it.
Not every task should be automated and not every decision should be delegated to an agent. Knowing the difference is a leadership skill, not a technical one.
